The company was founded in 2006 by Kai Seim as an engineering and planning company specializing in the rollout of fiber optics.
Since then, we have provided our customers with advice and support in over 300 telecoms projects.
With the continued expansion of our business, the company's headquarters were relocated in 2017 to new offices in Wiesbaden.

Kai Seim is the Founder and Managing Partner of seim & partner and is responsible for corporate development, customer management and product development.
As a graduate of TU Berlin (Technical University of Berlin), Kai Seim is a certified computer scientist and prior to founding seim & partner held a management position in IT at the Gerling Group (insurance) before accepting a senior leadership position in engineering at T-Systems. His main areas of responsibility are currently business development, network planning, network architecture and IT for broadband networks, in particular in the area of fiber-optic networks.
Kai Seim regularly publishes articles on broadband and fiber-optic issues and is currently an active member of two VDE (Association for Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Information Technologies) working groups devoted to the standardization of fiber-optic infrastructures. He also sits on the Program Committee for the VDE Broadband Conference and is a member of the ITG (Information Technology Society) Expert Group 5.2.5. dedicated to access and home networks.
